You see, many individuals think that the network marketing business is easy. It’s not! It takes a whole lot of work, time and effort. There is no such thing as a get rich scheme. At the same time, you have your doubts. You ask yourself, “Can I really do this?’ ‘What happens when someone wants to come into my business.’ ‘How am I going to teach something I don’t even know yet?”

Let me tell you, all those questions are very legitimate. I don’t know of anyone in this business who hasn’t ask those same questions to themselves. It wasn’t because they were not sincere in their efforts, but because they lacked the confidence they needed to replace their doubt. Once the doubt vanishes, then the confidence appears.

One fatal mistake you can make in network marketing is thinking that you have to know everything about your business. This is not true! What you need to be able to do is learn how to point people in the right direction to find the information that has been placed there by experienced marketers. Pointers make the best leaders.

Are you feeling a bit relieved at this point? I hope so. Whoever told you that you needed to know everything about everything was not the leader you needed to be under. If you continue to train under this type of leadership, you will become just like them, a failure. You got into this business to be successful and successful you will be if you learn the techniques of being a good pointer, not a know-it-all.
