Power of the Master Mind is very intriguing to me. I have never been one who thought that a lot could be accomplished by oneself. Team effort is what I rely on when it comes to getting any task at hand completed.

This is why I am so impressed with the Mentoring for Free family. Here we have a group effort; one that is not willing to let others fall by the wayside. I am in the process of reading a book by J.J. Turner called “Building An Effective Leadership Team.” He says, “The nice thing about teamwork is that you always have others on your side.” That’s important! He also stresses that teamwork makes the difference in all areas of life. I definitely know this to be true in my spiritual side and I suppose I have always known it to be true about my social and business sides as well.

The business side of life is where I have been lacking the influence of the Master Mind. Since I have come in contact with MFF and have begun my process of the Mental Cleanse I can clearly see how the chatter has to be removed so there can be focus on the tasks at hand. This has also aided me in my spiritual walk and I regularly share it with members of our church.

Two minds are always better than one in my book as long as there is harmony. Harmony brings out the best in most people, whereas disharmony brings out the worst. Harmony is what I am experiencing with MFF and it is a wonderful feeling. I am so happy to know that there are so many around the world that still care for others and are willing to show it by being part of the Master Mind team, which thinks of others before self. I know together we will continue to make a drastic difference in any life that will invite us in to share this good news with them.

So, how do you stop from becoming a statistic. First you need to know that 90% of new businesses fail the first year. If this is true, and it is, then you do not want to align yourself with a business that is that young. Secondly, 90% of the rest of the businesses fail in the next 4 years. This is a tough truth to accept and I don’t expect you to take my word for it, even though I’m not lying to you. All you have to do is a Google search and you can find out all you need to know about a certain company before you sign on the dotted line with them.

One thing for sure is that you definitely want to read a company’s Policy and Procedures and their Compensation Plan before you make up your mind. Would you accept a position with an employer without knowing what your responsibilities are or how much they were going to pay you? Of course not! This is the same thing but most people don’t look at it that way.

If you have already ventured into the mlm/network marketing arena and have not found success, it’s still not your fault. If I were to guess, you probably were told that you would be trained or you would be guaranteed a certain amount of income if you just did so and so. Right? Well you, like so many before and after you, had to learn the hard way. Don’t we all.

You need to ask yourself “WHY” am I doing what I’m doing. You need a strong enough reason as to why you are doing what you are doing. If WHAT you are doing doesn’t work then you will figure out another way to get it done. There is no room to be wishy-washy or lukewarm in this business. If you are, you’re a goner!

I will help you figure out your “WHY.” This is not for my benefit, but for yours. You need a 99.9% “WHY” if you are going to be successful. If your “WHY” is anything less, you are sure to fail. This is a plain fact!

Shame on you if you find yourself in this situation without a backup plan.  If you are single then you might be okay but what if you are a family man or a single mom and you have mouths to fed, clothe and shelter.   Do you see the ugly word picture being constructed here?  You need to start looking for an antidote to the unemployment dilemma right now.  He who hesitates gets left behind.  The early bird catches the worm and so forth.

There are so many mentoring systems being offered on the internet.  How do you know which one to join?  First let me inform you that there are hundreds who claim to be mentors that are willing to take your last dollar if you will give it to them.  Why pay for something when you can get it for free?  Free is good, isn’t it?

Everybody says the mentoring system which can be duplicated is the one you want to get involved with.  This makes good sense, right?  You want a system you can learn and then turn around and teach to others.  This is a wonderful way to grow relationships.  Not only that it is also a wonderful way to put an end to the unemployment dilemma.

A true mentor will spend time listening to the concerns of his or her student. Is this important? Absolutely! Everyone needs someone to talk to and everyone has burdens that need to be shared or maybe even dumped at times. A true mentor will become that dumping ground if need be and will be happy to be there to catch the burdens. Weight lifting is not a prerequisite but it could come in handy!

A true mentor must have focus on the needs at hand of the one that is in search of guidance. This means that the true mentor must be selfless in his or her actions and expectations in regards to the one being mentored. Do you consider yourself to be selfless or are you more selfish in your ways? Being a good mentor involves getting self out of the picture completely and concentrating on the one being that needs mentoring.

Does any of this make sense at all? I hope so!

So, why be a mentor? People in the network marketing business face many challenges. But I believe they can be helped with whatever problems and difficulties that arise in their networking lives by having a true mentor on their side. One that is not afraid of challenges, but looks at them as opportunities. One that always has positive words for any and all situations. A mentor who will be there no matter what, no matter when and no matter why. Ultimately, a true mentor can change the life of a network marketer just by being there and helping them make right decisions.

Many have given up, on the work for someone else, job market because there is no future in it.  They have witnessed hordes of individuals lose their high paying jobs due to downsizing or the economic crisis which is upon us now.  Maybe they were even among those that lost their jobs.  We’re not just talking about your middle class blue collar workers here!  We are talking about corporate executives as well.  Presidents, CEOs and even company owners are biting the dust.  Is there no security anywhere?

All this job loss caused by downsizing has turned successful people into frustrated failures.  For some, this occurred over night and for others it was very gradual.  How would you like to be earning a comfortable $100,000 a year salary and all of the sudden be told that the paycheck stops right now?  That would be enough for some to consider taking their own lives or maybe the lives of those who brought them this devastating news.

If you are frustrated and if this frustration has or is leading you to failure, STOP right now!  Your failure is not your fault!  You don’t have to blame yourself any longer.  You definitely do not want to be part of the 95% failure rate of the network marketing business.  You can roll over and play dead if you want to or maybe have a gigantic pity party, but when it’s all over and done with, you will still be a loser, a failure, a has been if that is what you desire.

Now let me ask you a question, “Does the company you work for have all, some or none of those qualities?”  If you think there are no companies in network marketing with all those characteristics, you are sadly mistaken.  Of course, if you want to find them, you have to search diligently because they are not the ones making a big show of themselves.  Why?  They don’t have to.  Their actions speak loud about their integrity.

Surely you remember your childhood days in school when your parents told you to do your best.  If your best was a “C” average, then you did your best and they were pleased with your efforts.  If your best was an “A” and you did “C” work, then you were not doing your best and usually suffered the consequences.

If you partner up with a “C” company and expect them to act or treat you like an “A” company, you will more than likely be waiting for an eternity.  In other words, it isn’t going to happen.

Network marketing at its best will be a company that has management experience with integrity.  It will have timing in the company and in the industry.  It will have a fantastic product at value pricing.  It’s compensation plan will be out of this world and will appeal to the part-time marketer.  Lastly, the company will have a system that is able to be duped for success.

This sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it?   Well it is true and I’m going to share with you right now how this could be possible for you.  First you have to believe in yourself and believe the dream of network marketing can become a reality in your own life time.  Once you get this under your belt you will begin the process for living the life others only dream about.

Secondly, you will need a teacher (mentor) that is well versed in the network marketing business.  Someone who has more than just a couple of years experience.  In other words, someone who has already gone through the school of hard knocks.  You want someone who is able to empathize with you and your present situation, not be a sympathizer.

Thirdly, you will need to be teachable and be able to stay with a duplicateable program your mentor sets up for you.  You see, if it worked for your mentor and for hundreds of others, then surely it will work for you as well.  This is such a simple process that even a child could stay with it and become wealthy and successful.  You deserve success in your life and this duplicateable program with make this happen!

Next you need to be willing to put your trust in those that truly want to help you.  If someone is offering you help and asking nothing in return except your willingness to stay with the program, why wouldn’t you trust them?  I know, you have been burned in the past and you have given up a lot of your hard earned dollars trying to be successful.  The people or companies you thought you were investing in for life, took you money and ran.
