Lack of Success in MLM/Network Marketing

Your lack of success in your mlm/network marketing business is not your fault. Did you hear me? It is not YOUR fault! Don’t even think about quitting! Most people do, you know, but you do not want to be among those numbers.

So, how do you stop from becoming a statistic. First you need to know that 90% of new businesses fail the first year. If this is true, and it is, then you do not want to align yourself with a business that is that young. Secondly, 90% of the rest of the businesses fail in the next 4 years. This is a tough truth to accept and I don’t expect you to take my word for it, even though I’m not lying to you. All you have to do is a Google search and you can find out all you need to know about a certain company before you sign on the dotted line with them.

One thing for sure is that you definitely want to read a company’s Policy and Procedures and their Compensation Plan before you make up your mind. Would you accept a position with an employer without knowing what your responsibilities are or how much they were going to pay you? Of course not! This is the same thing but most people don’t look at it that way.

If you have already ventured into the mlm/network marketing arena and have not found success, it’s still not your fault. If I were to guess, you probably were told that you would be trained or you would be guaranteed a certain amount of income if you just did so and so. Right? Well you, like so many before and after you, had to learn the hard way. Don’t we all.

You need to ask yourself “WHY” am I doing what I’m doing. You need a strong enough reason as to why you are doing what you are doing. If WHAT you are doing doesn’t work then you will figure out another way to get it done. There is no room to be wishy-washy or lukewarm in this business. If you are, you’re a goner!

I will help you figure out your “WHY.” This is not for my benefit, but for yours. You need a 99.9% “WHY” if you are going to be successful. If your “WHY” is anything less, you are sure to fail. This is a plain fact!

This system I will teach you is duplicatable. This means that not only can you learn it, but you will be able to teach it to others as well. To top it all off, it is absolutely free. I know, you are saying to yourself, “Why is he offering me all of this for free? There must be a catch!” Yes there is a catch and the catch is you will have to work for your success. I will help you by giving you the tools and training necessary to succeed, but I will not do it for you. If you are truly wanting to own your own life, then you will be willing to do what is necessary for this to happen. For once, believe in yourself. I don’t even know you yet and I believe in you. You can and will do it, trust me.

I can and will mentor you and we can and will become close friends because what I teach builds relationships and relationships will build your business. Does any of this make any sense at all? I hope so! Let’s get started today.

Network Marketing Courtsey

Most people these days do not have any idea what the word “courtesy” means. It must be one of those old school terms or something, since there is so much neglect of its use. For those of you who have forgotten the meaning of this word or maybe never knew the meaning, it is politeness combined with kindness. Politeness and kindness are two more words that are not being used too much either.

I am no different than most of you on the world wide web. I am trying to make extra income to help out during this period of recession. I’m doing okay at the moment but I could do so much better if the people I make contact with would just be courtesy enough to respond to my emails. Is it too much to ask someone to acknowledge the receipt of a free gift you have given them. Just a short note to say, “I got the gift and I will use it” or maybe “I got the gift and I gave it away or threw it away.” Some acknowledgment is better than nothing at all. I call that common courtesy.

Are you experiencing this same kind of treatment? How much better would network marketing be if all of us began applying a little courtesy with our contacts. Does it always have to be about the money? I believe with all my heart that if we utilize the wonderful gift of courtesy in our business practices, we will begin to see huge increases in our relationships and possibly our bank accounts.

Network Marketing versus the 9 to 5

Are you still working a 9 to 5 job? Good for you! The routine 9 to 5 job offers many things that the network marketing can’t offer. For one thing the 9 to 5 offers consistency when it comes to receiving a paycheck. If you put in the hours, you will get paid. The 9 to 5 offers certain perks, like paid vacations, health insurance, incentives and paid holidays. All these things are not worth giving up to become a network marketing guru or entrepreneur.

Let’s get real here. Of course there are a lot of people getting rich being network marketers, but they didn’t get that way over night. The true entrepreneurs worked hard getting their own leads and establishing their businesses. Their prospects didn’t just walk in off the street and say, “Here I am. I want to sign up under you so you can get rich.” Many an entrepreneur has had to put in years of grinding to reach their goals for success.

I’m not trying to discourage you from becoming a network marketer. All I’m trying to do is let you know that it needs to be done one step at the time. Did you realize that the vast majority of online people are working their businesses part-time? They do this so they can keep their secure 9 to 5 jobs, then when they reach their online success goals, they can fire their bosses. Now doesn’t that have a good ring to it? It needs to be done in the right order.

Please don’t fall for the get rich quick schemes. Thousands of people are suckered into that deceit everyday and live to regret their decisions. Once you fire you boss prematurely, it is too late to back up and start all over. Be patient and let your success come to you. When this happens you will begin to live the life that most people only dream about. Some actually have nightmares, I think!

Companionship is a wonderful thing. Most people in today’s society have a need to surround themselves with as many companions as possible. For some this brings comfort and/or security due to the number factor. Of course one’s personality type will most definitely have a bearing on the number of companions one will acquire over any given period of time.

I agree we must have a list, but do we need to accept any and everybody into that list? I think not! We better be very cautious when it comes to building lasting relationships, especially with those we know absolutely nothing about. Evil wears many disguises! Evil lurks around every corner!

Everyone says, the more friends you have, the better off you will be when it comes to your networking business. Friends and associates are very important. It is good if you can build once and build right. If you build it right, then you will have no worries. Most people can go back a few years and recall their family sedan. You don’t even hear terms like that anymore. If you consider yourself a baby boomer, then you know exactly what I’m talking about here.

Grind and mechanics is what being the family sedan is all about. Sure there were a lot cars out there that were classier, faster and more popular, but just how dependable were they compared to the old family sedan?

I can remember when I was a child how our family traveled around from state to state in an old Dodge DeSoto. It surely wasn’t anything to look at and we didn’t have to worry about anybody wanting to steal it.

Today I travel the internet with a family that I consider to be my family sedan. I feel the security and dependability of being part of this family and within this family there is a Mastermind group that is second to none that assures my safety.

Everybody is looking to belong to some group that they can feel safe with and at the same time depend on for guidance and training. Most people know that these groups are not easy to find. I doubt very seriously if I could find a Dodge DeSoto today and these unique mentoring groups are hard to discover too if you don’t know where to look.

Most people on the net are claiming to be expert mentors but many of them can’t even spell mentor much less know what a mentor is responsible for doing. You have probably experienced some of these folks already while seeking to be trained.

In Your Face Network Marketing

I have recently been listening to some very informative training calls. One never knows what bit of information is going to be ascertained until it hits them like a ton of bricks.

What I’ve been getting is “In Yo Face” information. In other words, it is direct, to the point and very personal. It is also very true and one of the best ways network marketing will come to fruition.

There are so many ways you can market your wares. There’s emailing, cold calls, direct leads, post cards, letters and then there is plain ole face to face marketing.

I don’t know about you, but I prefer the face to face method over all the rest. It is this “In Yo Face” kind of communication that yields results. It is more personal and there is no other communication that is more effective than eyeball to eyeball contact. This kind eliminates ALL the hype!

If you are struggling trying to get people involved in your business, could it be that you need to develop an “In Yo Face” method that will work for you. Most people appreciate directness, cutting out all the bull and hitting them with the facts. They want to know what you can do for them. They want to know if you are for real. They want to know if you’re going to be there for them once you’ve recruited them into your business. Facial expressions usually speak louder than any spoken words and reveals true motives.

Isn’t this what you were looking for when you finally discovered your niche?
