The internet is loaded with so many personalities and if we are not careful we could place ourselves in some serious situations by not watching our tongues. It could cost us some of our personal, as well as our business relationships. There is a book called the Bible that reminds us that every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison (James 3:7, 8).

Now, just because it is unable to be tamed does not mean we should not try to keep it under control. Most of the individuals using social media sites are doing a wonderful job at keeping all their conversations clean. I am very grateful for their consideration of others, but there will always be among us the few that will not care what they say or who they offend. I don’t know what you do about those folks, but I delete them from my listings.

Thanks again to all of you who are continuing to show this much needed consideration to others. It will pay big dividends to you and your endeavors in the end! Keep up the good work!

Have you ever craved anything? A crave is a long way from a wish or a hope. When I crave something I will do almost whatever is necessary to get it and that is the way I look at desire. If I desire to be wealthy, no matter if it is physical, material and especially spiritual, there is nothing that can stand in my way of acquiring those needs.

One thing for sure is that all of us are going to perish from this life sooner or later but my desire is to get all that I can out of this life before my number expires. I will be a winner before I perish from this lifetime but it will only come about by my desire to get while the getting is good. How about you? Yes, we only have one shot at this life and the Lord knows how many mistakes and wrong turns I have already made, but that doesn’t mean that my path cannot be straight from now on. How crooked has your path been? Do you want yours straightened out?

I do desire riches but not for myself. I like nice things just like most folks but I want riches so I can help others. I desire this because there are so many who strive to do good in this life but fail miserably. These are the ones I want to help and I want to be able to do it monetarily if possible. My desire is so strong that I will not give up until the task at hand becomes a reality for me. Do you have a strong desire to help others? There is nothing more rewarding than to be able to help those that are in need. If by chance I lose this desire, I might as well dig a hole, crawl in it and die because I will be no good to myself and certainly no good to anyone else. It is a MUST for me to keep this desire burning within my very being. There is too much at risk and at stake not to!

I do believe that I will receive this blessing from God but it will be in His timing not mine. When it happens I will gladly accept this gift and do with it what God leads me to do. This will not happen if I lose the desire, so my focus must remain in tact and I must never lose my purpose for being here in the first place: to serve my Maker and my fellow man. It truly doesn’t get any better than this!

What is your purpose? What is your desire? Is it selfless or selfish? Only you know the answer to those question.

This is the time of the year when many of the physical viruses are floating around in the air, but don’t be fooled into thinking that they are the only ones out there trying to infect your life. Just three days ago my computer began throwing up unwanted ads on my screen. I would get several in a minute’s time and it began to be very annoying to say the least. I discovered I had a bad Trojan virus and it took some doing to get rid of it. By the way, if you haven’t heard of Malwarebytes, you need to become good friends with this anti-virus software and have it close by. It is even FREE and will save you from having any downtime on your computer.

There are some network marketers out there that can infect your life in a big way and they do it monetarily. They hit you where it really hurts. Right in the old pocketbook. They introduce themselves very harmlessly then they throw the networking virus on you. It’s too late for you because you never saw it coming and now you have the infection. You don’t know where to turn or what to do. At this point you wish you never heard of network marketing. One thing you don’t want to do and that is be a carrier. It is one thing to be infected but another thing to give the infection to others.

Don’t get discouraged by this malicious act that infected you, because there is help to be found if you know where to look. While the network virus hounds will always be with us, we don’t have to fall prey to their tactics any longer. There is a family online that specializes in helping individuals like yourself get back on track and to do it with dignity, with pride and with the attitude that you can and will whip your past failures by turning them into victories.

Remember to always be cautious before venturing into any online business. Look at their Polices and Procedures and their Compensation Plans. If there are red flags to be found, here is where they will be. This online family will help you to identify these flags so get with them as soon as possible and turn your setbacks into comebacks never to be preyed upon again!

I am reminded of our good Lord who made us freewill agents and even He doesn’t demand anything from us. Rather He asks and those that want to follow, He will lead. This is the way it must be in the network marketing business as well if you plan on succeeding. Sure, I know, some of those demanding marketers progress in a positive direction but only until their true colors show, then their followers begin to disappear.

You want to build big once knowing that your followers will become leaders like you. After all, we do follow by example and we should want to be the best examples possible, which will create a team of winners, not losers. Surely you want to be able to go back to your leader, trainer, mentor and ask for advice knowing that he or she will give you honest counsel. There is no demanding in this type of leadership. It is pure and undefiled and one that truth seekers will follow endlessly.

This movie had so much to do with learning, leadership, friends and belief that I couldn’t help but relate it to the networking marketer. These are the qualities one must have if they are going to endure the hardships that it takes to make one successful in this most gratifying business.

There are so many who are still struggling to make their first dollar in network marketing. If a person is not willing to learn this business, they will never be successful in it. If they do not accept the fact that they are going to have to be shown a few things by qualified leaders and mentors, then they might as well get off the net and go back to the corporate world. One thing to note here is that if you return to that world, you will never own your own life.

Network marketers need to know that this business is a relational type business and in order to acquire friends, you must be one first. Friendship in this business is your lifeline. If you haven’t figured that out yet, please do it now so you can safe yourself years of frustration and possible failure. Then there is belief. You have to believe in yourself and you need to partner up with an online family that will believe in you too. This is definitely a win win situation.

Also in the movie “Polar Express” the conductor of the train said that it doesn’t matter about your destination because you’re not going anywhere if you don’t first get aboard. This is so true about network marketing. It is so easy to hesitate and let the train pass you by, but this is not the spirit you are searching for when it comes to making your desires a reality.

If your spirit is not positive from the get go, then you are surely bound for defeat. Get with a mentor, a trainer, that is going to support you by giving you the necessary training you need to be successful. He must be a good leader and one that wants to be your friend, not your boss. If he is all these things to you, then you will more than likely hear the words, “I believe in you and your failure is not your fault.”

A true mentor will spend time listening to the concerns of his or her student. Is this important? Absolutely! Everyone needs someone to talk to and everyone has burdens that need to be shared or maybe even dumped at times. A true mentor will become that dumping ground if need be and will be happy to be there to catch the burdens. Weight lifting is not a prerequisite but it could come in handy!

A true mentor must have focus on the needs at hand of the one that is in search of guidance. This means that the true mentor must be selfless in his or her actions and expectations in regards to the one being mentored. Do you consider yourself to be selfless or are you more selfish in your ways? Being a good mentor involves getting self out of the picture completely and concentrating on the one being that needs mentoring.

Does any of this make sense at all? I hope so!

So, why be a mentor? People in the network marketing business face many challenges. But I believe they can be helped with whatever problems and difficulties that arise in their networking lives by having a true mentor on their side. One that is not afraid of challenges, but looks at them as opportunities. One that always has positive words for any and all situations. A mentor who will be there no matter what, no matter when and no matter why. Ultimately, a true mentor can change the life of a network marketer just by being there and helping them make right decisions.

If you did quit, why did you do it? Was it simply because you didn’t make that $500 a day or $30,000 a month they promised you? Come on, get serious! Did you really think you could make that kind of money without making any kind of sacrifice besides money? Did you think you could do it without knowing anything about network marketing? It just doesn’t happen that way my friend.

Is another reason you quit due to the fact that you were promised to be trained and that wonderful company let you down? This has happened to the best of us and you need to realize right now that your past, present and maybe even some future failures are not your fault. Did you hear me? It’s not your fault! That should give you some relief, but what now. Where do you go from here?

If you plan on giving up entirely on the network marketing business, you are making a BIG mistake. What you need to do is regroup. What do I mean by regroup? Simple. Do some homework and look for a company that offers you training. This means you are going to have to find yourself a mentor. A person who is willing to spend time with you and who wants to see you succeed in your business. You will know if you have found the right person if he/she doesn’t talk to you about products or companies. They are just interested in helping you find your network marketing niche.

I know all of this sounds very fictitious, but it’s not. It is very real and very attainable if you are willing to pay the price and I’m not talking money here. I’m talking about a little blood, sweat and even tears. If you are willing to stick with a program that is duplicate-able, this will be your answer to success. It will not come to you over night. You want a system that you can learn and pass on to others just like your mentor did with you. Gives you the warm fuzzes, doesn’t it?
